World Social Justice Day Commemoration 2026 | Campus VIBGYOR: Film Screening & Discussion
As part of the World Social Justice Day Commemoration, the Department of Social Work, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, in collaboration with VIBGYOR Film Collective, is organizing Campus VIBGYOR – Film Screening and Discussion on 18 February 2026, from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
The programme features the documentary film The Balance Sheet, which critically examines the World Bank and its 80-year legacy, directed by Joe Atialy. The screening will be followed by a keynote address on “Financial Accountability and Social Work Practice” by Maju Varghese, Coordinator, Partners in Justice Concerns, India.
The event aims to foster critical dialogue on social justice, development, and accountability through visual storytelling and academic discussion. Students, research scholars, and faculty members are encouraged to participate.
